It’s now the last straight line before the opening of Mitsubishi Electric World Classic Tour and it’s time to present the last team registered, but not the least!

A strong team reinforced by (very) young athletes

Lager 157 Ski Team from Sweden was strong and is now getting stronger. With Emil Persson (2nd place at Alliansloppet 2021 and multiple winner on Ski Classics), Runar Skaug Mathisen (5th at Alliansloppet 2018) and Marcus Johansson, Lager 157 Ski Team will play the first places this summer.

The team strengthened his rank with Torleif Syrstad and Alvar Myhlback, born in 2006 who had replaced Halvarsson (who was sick) in the Swedish relay championship and who had finished 2nd with his teammate Teodore Peterson. His performances are already impressive, and it will be interesting to see him evolve this summer.

On the women’s side, the team also bet on youth with Linnea Johansson who was 5 time in the Top 30 this winter in Ski Classics and Karolina Hedenström who was twice in the Top 10 in Ski Classics!

They are a good chance for Lager 157 Ski Team to fight for the Youth bib.

A lot of newcomers for Team Engcon

Team Engcon, whose manager is the three-time Marcialonga winner Jerry Ahrlin, recruited a lot of new athletes for this summer starting with Ida Dahl, multiple time winner in the past winter.

On the men’s side, Eddie Edström (multiple Top 15 this winter) and Anton Mickelsen Elvseth were recruited.

Torgeir Sulen Hovland was already in Team Engcon, and with a 6th place in Alliansloppet 2022, he can claim good results this summer.

Two Teams live from Europa

Team BSV Ibex is Swiss team specialized in long-distance skiing and they had some good results this winter with Serena Kaufmann and Katerina Paul who both was several times in the Top 30 in Ski Classics this winter.

The Team can also count on Marino Capelli who did several World Cup.

This summer, Team BSV Ibex will concentrate mostly on the virtual event that will be released soon.

Endless Local Nordic Team is a German long-distance team, and they will also be focusing on the virtual event this summer.

For this the team will be able to rely on solid skier like the two-time Top 50 in Vasaloppet Florian Rohde or Jessica Wirth (21st at Marcialonga 2018 and 23rd at Vasaloppet 2018) and Ann-Cathrin Uhl (23rd at Engadin 2022).

All this promises us a spectacle on rollerskis all over the planet!
