Champions Tour 2025 – Stage 4: Alliansloppet 48 km

By August 31, 2025No Comments

The Alliansloppet 48 km in Trollhättan delivered another day of high drama.

In the men’s race, Alvar Myhlback continued to build his reputation as one of the brightest stars in long-distance skiing. The 19-year-old Swede added Alliansloppet to his growing list of victories, powering through to win in a thrilling sprint finish ahead of Thomas Joly and Amund Hoel. It was Myhlback’s first victory at Alliansloppet, but given his form and composure, it seems unlikely to be his last. Conquering one of the sport’s most prestigious races marks another milestone in his already sensational career.

The women’s race saw Magni Smedås take her second Alliansloppet title, showcasing both strength and tactical intelligence. She crossed the line ahead of Sweden’s Hanna Lodin and Jenny Larsson, both of whom delivered impressive performances in front of a home crowd.

With four stages completed, the overall standings in the Champions Tour 2025 are taking form. On the women’s side, the Øyre Slind sisters are now tied at the top, with Astrid and Silje both sitting on 240 points, setting up a nail-biting showdown in the final stage. For the men, Alvar Myhlback has taken a clear lead with 222 points, ahead of teammate Einar Kalland-Olsen, while Andrew Musgrave remains in contention for a podium spot.
